DAY TRIPS

At Summer Fields we have made an endeavour to inculcate a spirit of inquisitiveness and adventure combined with fun and joy by taking our young students from Pre-Primary & Primary section to various trips and excursions.

The students have had a gala time at places such as Delhi Zoo, Garden of five senses, Nehru Park etc. The efforts to take students to new and interesting places will continue in 2009.

Trips and Tours are an integral part of the school curriculum. They have been greatly effective in developing leadership qualities, trust, bonding, communication, setting goals, motivation, team spirit, and confidence in the students.   Day visits are organized for students to Railway Museums, Nehru Planetarium, Mausam Bhawan, Science Museum, Metro Station, Rajghat, Shantivan, Vijayghat, Akshardham Temple, Factories like Parle, Maruti Udyog etc. Besides, every class goes for a picnic once in an academic year.In vacations or post examination breaks, students are taken to outstation trips to places of historical, cultural and natural interest like Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer etc. in Rajasthan,  hill stations like Shimla, Nainital, Mussoorie, Dalhousie and  Amritsar - Wagah Border etc. Adventure Camps involving outdoor activities like Trekking, Rock Climbing, Tent Pitching, Rafting etc are also organized from time to time.

Very shortly Students will be sent to foreign countries as a part of Exchange Programmes.
