The Summer Fields School education is a partnership between home & school. We embrace the participation of parents in the education of their children. We look forward to the unstinting support of parents towards the school ethos. We always remain open to ideas & feedback which we can incorporate in our bid for continual improvement.
Meet the Principal Day

We believe in keeping close contact with our partners in the students’ development – the parents.

‘Meet the Principal’ Day’ is held for each class from Pre – Primary to Std. XII, where a shared vision of the school is re-iterated, with active dialogue with the parents. Important issues pertaining to the particular class group are discussed, the parent are appraised of the activities planned for their children, the infrastructural additions to the school & it is a forum for parents to meet all the subject teachers & class co-ordinators of the respective classes.

The Open House proceedings commenced with a very meaningful & beneficial address by the Principal to the parents & students for std X & XII.The Principal spoke about the importance of a close interaction of the parents with the teachers & that the students need the parents at every step, even in higher classes, only their needs at different levels are different. She apprised the parents about the infrastructural changes & upgradations, including modern laboratories & classrooms, the robotics lab. Etc.She solicited the parents’ co-operation incurbing rowdy & indiscipline behavior amongst the students of the Board classes. The Principal re-emphasized the importance of taking classes, Monday tests, etc. seriously. This was followed by individual interaction of the parents with the class teachers & subject teachers to discuss the student’s academic progress & areas requiring special attention & the steps required for the same.
