PEACE WEEK:
Peace week was observed from the 5th to the 9th of October. It was explained why it is important to live in peace and harmony and only this can lead to the progress of mankind. Pictures of great personalities, who worked for world peace, like Mother Teresa and Mahatma Gandhi, were shown and their role in bringing about world peace were explained.

JOY OF GIVING WEEK:
Sharing and giving to others who are less fortunate than us is the greatest joy that we can have. This was discussed in the class and dramatization was also done in which children asked for and gave each other things like pencils, biscuits and toys etc.

DIWALI CELEBRATIONS:
The importance of the festival was explained. There were discussions on how we celebrate Diwali. The children made colourful diyas to decorate their homes and class.

TRAFFIC RULES AND ME :
Obeying traffic rules is paramount for our safety. Children learnt some traffic rules. They  also  understood why it is important to obey these rules. They carried colourful placards quoting traffic rules. It was heartwarming to see the confidence and enthusiasm displayed by  them.

FUN WITH MAGNIFYING GLASS:
The children were exposed to the wonders of science. A magnifying glass was shown. It enthralled them to see objects appearing big when seen through a magnifying glass.
