ACADEMIC SESSION 2011-2012
PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE:
|
Dear Parents,
This is a new initiative of Summer Fields School. The ‘e-newsletter’ brought
by us is keeping in tune with the ‘Go Green’ campaign in the school as part of the Green
School programme. We want to reduce the consumption of paper in the school. This is a small
contribution in saving our planet.
|
We have the green brigade (students who have been empowered to make sure
that the school is litter free.) You can also follow the same in your
homes. Two different dustbins have to be placed, one for bio-degradable
waste and one for non bio-degradable waste. Encourage the children to
follow this religiously at home too. You can be the role models.
Through the pages of this newsletter we want to showcase the creative
talents of our students. We are also giving an account of all the activities
that we have had in this session and also the results. I am sure you will be
glad to get updated about the events that we have conducted.
This year the CBSE result has been very good. 210 students appeared in class XII
Board Examinations. Rahul Chugh, Burhan Hyder and Harshita Ruhel were the toppers
in Commerce, Science and Humanities stream respectively. 16 students scored more
than 86% in different subjects. Rahul Chugh got a perfect score of 100 in Maths in
class XII . In Class X 266 students appeared for the examination under CCE.
16 students got a perfect score of 10 CGPA.
Congratulations to all the students, their parents and the teachers.
We have also got health monitors who will check the tiffins to ensure that the students bring healthy food to school. Try and encourage children to adopt healthy eating habits so that the youth of our country grow up to be healthy citizens of our nation.
So it is not only academics that we are focusing on but on grooming responsible and healthy students who will walk out of the portals of this school.
Seeking your cooperation in all our endeavours.
Warm Regards
Rema Alex Daniel
Principal
