An Insight

Summer Fields School follows an educational system based on 10+2 pattern of instruction of the C.B.S.E. The system constitutes 14 years of schooling starting with one year of Pre School. This is followed by one year of a Pre-Primary Class and finally a total of 12 years of Primary, Secondary and Senior Secondary Schooling.

“A Teacher affects eternity. One can never say when her influence stops”.

Each child is inherently an active member of each and every class activity, lending to it, its own brand of enthusiasm, energy, effort and élan. What makes us different is our honesty, integrity, free and frank behaviour. We believe that each one is capable of doing something praise worthy which need not necessarily result in scholastic victories. The classroom teaching is made lively and meaningful, drawing out examples from the child’s world and immediate environment and weaving a meaningful link with the warp and weft of the texture of the school, the students and teachers, share a loving relationship built on mutual trust, respect and friendship.

The Education pattern of the school is child-centered and ‘holistic’. The child’s nature is at the heart of all curricular activities and adequate space is given for the student to explore, observe, experiment and draw his/her own insight in the world of knowledge . The infrastructure of the school is well planned, be it the Maths lab, I.T facilities, the library or Sports facilities. Peers are encouraged to provide emotional support to students, in a manner where teachers and parents are unable to reach out to the child.

Each student of ours is precious, unique and valuable for us. We make a conscious effort that each child has an identity and individuality of his / her own while teaching them sharing and caring in a group.
