OUR BLOOMING BUDS
NEWSLETTER: PRE-SCHOOL - AUGUST -2012

Winning does not always mean being first. Winning means you are doing better than you had done before.

Dear Parents,

The theme for the month of July was – ‘FOOD’. The children were kept busy for the whole month in various activities related to the theme. They learnt the names of fruits and vegetables. In ‘Kiddies Kitchenette’ they enjoyed making and eating ‘Bhelpuri’. The outing to ‘Kingdom of Dreams’ was a thrilling experience for these little ones. They enhanced their knowledge through ‘Science Experience’ on ‘Bubble Fun’. The ‘Clay Modeling Competition’ helped our budding sculptors to develop their fine and gross motor movements. ‘Show and Tell’ on ‘My Favourite Fruit’ was organized to build confidence in our kinder joys. An ‘Open House’ updated parents on the progress of their children.

We welcome the month of August with great enthusiasm. The children will learn about healthy and junk food and will also speak on ‘Say No To Junk Food’ in the ‘Show and Tell Activity’.
To celebrate the birth of Lord Krishna and to inculcate cultural values in the children “Janamashtami Celebrations” will be organised wherein a tableaux will depict Radha, Krishna and the Gopi’s. ‘Rakhshabandhan’ will be celebrated with Rakhi making and tying by the Pre-Schoolers to celebrate the bond between brother and sister. To emphasize the spirit of patriotism ‘Independence Day’ will be celebrated. The children will make ‘Tri-coloured Sandwiches’ in ‘Kiddies Kitchenette’. In ‘Science Experience’ they will do ‘Invisible Drawing’. There will be a competition on ‘Tearing and Pasting’ in a given cutout.
An Open House is scheduled for 4TH August, 2012.
We reiterate that children must take part in all class activities as it gives them an opportunity to express themselves and become more confident.
Looking forward to your involvement and cooperation.
