ISA Award 2012-15

April 10, 2012 was a Red Letter Day in the history of Summer Fields School when we got accredited with the International School Award 2012-15 by The British Council. We had submitted a Dossier of work done to incorporate an international dimension in our curriculum, across all classes and subject areas. Our creativity, originality and use of websites for collaborative projects were appreciated by the assessment team.

The Management's support and the Principal’s leadership, creative guidance and commitment were instrumental in achieving this milestone in our journey towards attaining higher echelons of success. A healthy partnership with parents and the community along with our students’ and teachers' hard work, enthusiasm and ingenuity have resulted in the in-depth exploration of issues in multi-hued projects undertaken as part of ISA. Our students forged friendships through joint projects with children from across the globe, from Japan to Zambia; Sweden, Italy, Switzerland and Bangladesh to Philippines, U.S.A.  and U.K.

Now we can truly say that our students are well prepared to be Global Citizens of the World.
