AUGUST 2012

“The highest education is that which does not merely give us information but makes our life in harmony with all existence”.
Rabindranath Tagore

It’s August once more. How time flies. We can still visualize the first day of this academic session when our children entered the new classroom with a lot of apprehension and hesitation towards the new teacher and class. But after these four months our young ones have turned to be quite confident and independent. They have become well aware of their new arena of activities and are doing remarkably well. We feel thrilled to see them achieving new horizons everyday.
The month of July had given ample opportunities to the youngsters to bloom through different activities such as Clay Modeling, Hindi Recitation Competition etc. Each time they have amazed us with their proficiency and expertise in that particular field.
The month of August comes to us with lots of importance and significance. India accomplished her much expected independence in this month. We are going to celebrate this auspicious occasion with a lot of enthusiasm and putting our souls into it.
This month we will also get a chance to celebrate the bond between brother and sister on the occasion of Rakshabandhan. Children will be given an opportunity to enhance their aesthetic sense through the Rakhi Making Competition .
Janmashthami is another reason to rejoice in this eventful month. Children will receive knowledge regarding this festival through different activities.
Following activities will be organised in this month :

  • Competition–Rakhi Making
  • Activity – Leaf Impressions
  • Open House
  • Activity –Role Play- Dress Up As Leader
  • Competition –Memory Game
  • Outing –Gurudwara
  • Science Experience –Bending Pencil
  • Activity- Making Lollipops

As facilitators, we always appreciate and value your effort and support in the process of grooming the children. We would like to reiterate our gratitude to each of our parents for being so cooperative and supportive throughout. Your constant concern and care have helped the children win over every hurdle on their own.

We hope for the same support in the days to come. Looking forward to an interactive and fruitful session ahead.
