ACTIVITY REPORT : DECEMBER – 2009

MEET THE PRINCIPAL DAY :
Pre – School celebrated MEET THE PRINCIPAL DAY on 5th December, 2009. It had hundred
percent participation. The children put up a grand show which was highly appreciated by all
the parents. All the participants were given certificates of participation. The funfilled sports
extravaganza had a Welcome Ceremony, Welcome Song, Peace Walk, Activity Races, Flat –
Races, Aerobic Dance and Taekwon-do. The programme ended with a Prize Distribution.

SCIENCE EXPERIENCE :
The wonders of Science were explored. A Pinwheel was shown to the children and it was
explained how the different colours all blend into white when the Pinwheel moves fast.

WHEN I GROW UP I WILL BE………… :
The children came dressed up as what they want to be when they grew up and spoke 4-5
sentences on that person with a self – introduction. This activity helped in enhancing their
confidence and oratory skills.

CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS :
A Special Assembly was organized. The children made colourful Christmas cards and
decorated a Christmas tree. A Christmas Party was organized in the class. The attraction
of the celebrations was Santa Claus who distributed sweets and gifts to the children.

KIDDIES KITCHENETTE :
Working together and eating healthy food was emphasized in Kiddies Kitchenette. The
children enjoyed making and eating vegetable sandwiches.

OUTING TO NEHRU PARK :
The children were taken for an outing to Nehru Park. They enjoyed walking around the park
observing the beauties of nature. It was a novel experience for the children to sit in the park
in the bright winter sun and have a picnic.
WINNERS ALL THE WAY :
Two of our Pre-School children won honours in Inter – School Fancy Dress competitions in
which many eminent schools of Delhi participated.
Vrishti Arora won first prize at Cambridge School and a Certificate for Participation at
Dev Samaj Model School.
Khushi Singh won a Consolation Prize at New Horizon School.
