OUTLINE OF ACTIVITIES FOR THE MONTH OF JULY 2012
PRE-PRIMARY

Open House – After the summer vacation, the first open house was
held on 13th July, 2012 for better co-ordination and co-operation
between the parents and the teachers.
|

|
|
|
Science Experiment-Rising Coin- The experiment of Rising Coin
was conducted on 13th July, 2012 to explain the children
the concept that things at the bottom of a pool or a river always look closer to
the surface than they really are.

|
|
|
|
Activity- Making of an Ice-cream- To beat the heat of summer, children
were involved in the activity making of an ice-cream on 13th
July, 2012.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Class Assembly- To sensitize the children on different serious
issues of today, assemblies were conducted by Pre-Primary-A and B on the topics
such as Global Warming and Save Energy respectively.

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Hindi Recitation Competition- It was good to see maximum children
participating in the Intra-class Hindi Recitation Competition held
on 20th July, 2012. Children were judged on the basis of their
actions, voice modulation and props.

|
|
|
|
|
Clay Modelling Competition- Children have showcased their creativity
in the Clay Modelling Competition held on 21st July, 2012.
Some of them have amazed us by their imagination.

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
An Outing- Children were taken for an outing to the ‘Kingdom
of Dreams’ on 27th July, 2012.They
immensely enjoyed the puppet show, the magic show and the regional dances. It was
a fulfilled experience.
